The GEL-KAYANO 14 returns with an innovative retro touch, inspired by the late 2000s look of the iconic GEL-KAYANO series. Reinterpreting the high-performance features of the shoe with updated materials and components, this version marks a significant evolution in the design, being the first to be created by a designer other than Toshikazu Kayano. This passing of the torch not only revitalizes the legendary values of the model but also marks a step forward in performance evolution. Mimicking the original midsole construction with GEL cushioning, the shoe enhances the fit of the upper while retaining the 2008 leather and mesh layering. Additionally, the insole is made using a solution dyeing process, reducing water consumption by 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%, contributing to a lower environmental impact.
